Mesopotamia between two rivers

This fertile lands created 3 great cultures in the ancient times.

Sumer, Babylon and Assyria.
The Sumerians were the first inhabitants of the region that lived between the Euphrates and the Tigris and were historically comprehensible. They formed the oldest city culture in Southern Mesopotamia, that is, in today's southern Iraq. They invented writing around 3000-3500 BC. These characters, which were formed by pressing on clay with a pointed tool, were called cuneiform. It was passed on to Babylon, Assyria and other peoples by the Sumerians. Traditional literature, which is an integral part of these inscriptions, has become a characteristic that shaped all Mesopotamian cultures.
