Ani (Armenian: Անի; Greek: Ἄνιον, Ánion; Latin: Abnicum; Turkish: Ani)is a destroyed middle age Armenian city currently arranged in Turkey's territory of Kars, close to the shut boundary with Armenia.Between 961 and 1045, it was the capital of the Bagratid Armenian realm that covered a lot of present-day Armenia and eastern Turkey. Called the "City of 1001 Churches",Ani remained on different shipping lanes and its numerous strict structures, royal residences, and fortresses were among the most actually and creatively progressed structures on the planet. At its stature, Ani was one of the world's biggest cities,with a potential populace of around 100,000.
